TOUR: Shift Into History: Becoming Motor City and the Ford Rouge Factory Tour
Price:

- Guests on this fully-narrated tour will have a guided visit to the Ford Rouge Factory Tour. This experience includes two unique theater displays, a guided walk through the exhibitions with time to enjoy, and a guided visit to see the F150 being made on the assembly floor.
- Lunch will be served at the historic Grand Trunk Pub. Once a train ticket station for the Grand Trunk Railway, this experience in the heart of Detroit will fill everyone’s engines before they continue on with their tour.
- Guests will be treated to the stories of Detroit with two automotive-related stops. We will go beyond Ford and also explore names such as GM and Packard – and other modes of transport, too.

- Guests will also enjoy some local flavor with a bag of Better Made Chips and a Vernor’s “pop” as part of their guided tour experience.

- Immerse the bellies and minds of your guests in the ethnic history and cuisine of Detroit. During this tour we’ll stop at three locations to feature three different ethnic groups. Think of it as a progressive meal where we’ll feature ethnic stops for appetizers, entree and dessert.
- During this tour we’ll also enjoy a bonus experience at the Guardian Building, with a bird’s eye view of the neighborhoods and skyline of Detroit. If desired, we could alter the route to instead have a cultural experience in a different ethnic neighborhood or to take a tour of neighborhoods such as Greektown, Mexicantown and Corktown.
- Enjoy a shopping stop in Eastern Market to Devries & Company 1887 for some specialty food shopping and a cheese tasting. Your tour guide will highlight the location, and then the group will have time at the location for continued shopping time on their own.
- All along the way, your tour guide will provide comprehensive narration, highlighting culture and architectural hidden gems of Detroit for your attendees.
TOUR: Christmas Around Detroit Bakery Bus

- Visit 4 – 5 bakeries and shops during our extremely popular Christmas Bakery Bus! At each of the stops, your guests will receive treats, samples, and shopping time.
- En route to each location, your fully narrated tour includes the history of Christmas traditions from a variety of cultural groups such as the Greek, Polish, German, Irish, and Chinese.
TOUR: Christmas Lights & Desserts

- For groups staying overnight in Milwaukee, our Christmas Lights & Desserts tour is a perfect way to cap off your night. This Santa-approved tour is the perfect mix of history, Detroit Christmas traditions, tasty treats and a dash of light-hearted holiday spirit.
- On our tour, we’ll visit holiday displays at Campus Martius Park and One Campus Martius, and a visit to the Michigan Central Station display. If desired and appropriate for the mobility of the group and winter weather of the day, we can exit the coach to spend some time in a park as well or the Cadillac Square market.
- You’ll sample hot chocolate (or coffee) and desserts from two local restaurants, plus some special treats on the bus as well.
- And what’s Christmas without some festive caroling as we travel through D-Town and celebrate the holiday season.
